Last year, Tranent Wombles officially opened their new forest garden, located in Foresters Park, which has become a popular spot for people of all ages to visit.
The area features locally supplied native varieties of trees, shrubs and herbs, as well as a willow tunnel, wildflower meadow and accessible path.
Now, members of the Wombles have installed a giant table to provide a space for people to get together.
George Rutherford, Wombles member, said: “Installing the table was a big team effort.
“The sun shone and, after the job was done, we sat at the table for its first coffee and cake.
Thanks were given to Brian Tait Motors for offering use of their trailer and to the Tyne and Esk Rural Communities Development Fund for supporting the project.
For the next phase of the Forest Garden, the Wombles are planning a bog garden with a series of mini ponds and a wildflower meadow.
