Outdoor plant that got too top heavy, leaned over and snapped in half. Is it possible for the full stem to be rerooted in water or soil or is it too large?
The plant being around 12 inches tall. Any tips and pieces advice are greatly appreciated.

I would take off most leaves and put it in soil
make a clean cut, let it callous. transfer to water or soil and let it root
