Berrigan and District Development Association president John Lane welcomed the 50 people who came along.

New residents introduced themselves, and they all learnt about the various committees in town.

On Saturday, October 11, BOUSA will present a garden walk from 10am to 2pm.

BOUSA is the Berrigan, Oaklands and Urana Special Religious Education Association.

There will be one community garden, two private gardens and one public garden to view.

You can purchase your tickets and map at the Berrigan Community Garden, 41 Barooga St. Cost is $20 per person, with kids free.

The Community Garden is looking for volunteers.

If you can spare some time to help keep this wonderful garden in top condition, you would be very welcome.

The committee meets on Saturday mornings at 9am, or Wednesdays at 1.30pm.

The Community Garden is situated on Barooga St, opposite the pool.

Sunday, October 12 will be the Townies v Farmers golf day, with tee off at 12.30pm.

The competition will be two person ambrose.

Arrange your own partner for a fun day for all golf levels.
