Both the berry and flower are on a spiky looking bush on one end of the house and I was wondering if anyone knew what it was. I live in Marion County Florida if that helps. Thank you for the assistance 😊
Lantana is a popular, heat-loving flowering plant known for its vibrant, multi-colored flower clusters and drought tolerance, making it a favorite for sunny gardens and containers. Native to tropical regions of the Americas and Africa, it thrives in full sun and well-draining soil, attracting pollinators like butterflies and hummingbirds. While it can be grown as a perennial in warm climates, it is often treated as an annual in areas with cold winters.
Toxicity: Lantana is toxic to dogs, cats, and horses.
Invasiveness: Some species, particularly Lantana camara, can be invasive in certain regions.
