TD Garden, one of Boston’s busiest sports and concert venues, celebrated its 30th birthday on Tuesday with a “Golden Birthday Pop-Up Party” at the Hub on Causeway.The building, home court for the Celtics and home ice for the Bruins, replaced the historic Boston Garden back in 1995. It was originally called the FleetCenter, then TD Banknorth Garden. In 2009, the name was shortened to TD Garden. There were cupcakes, giveaways, photo ops, and music at the celebration and the venue presented a $30,000 donation to Community Work Services.
