The Louth Gardeners and Growers Collective have announced their autumn event, ‘Preserving the Harvest’ with nutritionist and local woman Eva Campbell.
Eva is a nutritionist and a passionate organic gardener, growing a huge range of produce in her beautiful garden in Greenore.
This will be a practical and talk on how to make the most of your homegrown produce. Eva will demonstrate four simple methods—fermenting, water bath canning, dehydrating, and freezing—to enable you to enjoy your garden’s bounty all year round. For anyone growing veg, gluts in the garden will happen at some stage or other, so join Eva and the Louth Gardeners and Growers to learn how to preserve and enjoy your beautiful home grown produce this autumn.
The talk takes place in the Workshop Room downstairs in An Táin Arts Centre on Thursday 9th October, from 7.00pm to 9.00pm and costs €5 for members of the Louth Gardeners & Growers Collective and €10 for non-members. Membership for 2026 is available on the night.
