I bought this mimosa on saturday, changed pots yesterday and today I watered it.
I put it in the window today morning, and didn’t realize the heating was on which is under the window. I also left the window open slightly.

I just looked on it and I see it’s drooping down, doesn’t want to close when I touch it. I’m freaking out because I’ve been looking for this plant since 2 years and I don’t want to lose it.

What can I do? Will it go back to normal? Is it saveable?

Yeah it doesn’t look too good… Maybe I’m used to seeing them fresh instead of after two days but either way:

2 parts of any bubbly wine, preferably on the sour side with 1 part orange juice (honestly dear, the cheapest one) works
If it still doesnt look top good you can add half a slice of orange as a garnish, blood orange if you like some flair

    Stay calm

Transplanting to this species is a traumatic experience for this species.

It likes well drained soils and periodic watering, no misting.

The folding and unfolding of the leaves requires a tremendous amount of energy. They are easy to kill by touching them to much

I would move the plant to a well lit and stable moderate temperature spot.
    Let it recover

Ive always wanted one of these but they seem high maintenance. I believe you need controlled temp threshold and specific sustained levels of humidity for it. Making it risky to be casual about leaving it in dry areas. Im not entirely sure but thats why I haven’t procured one. I wouldnt be able to give it nearly enough light, let alone controlling humidity. Hopefully someone will shed light on it. Commenting to keep track 😅
