For the Hudson Home & Garden Club program, protecting the Kinnickinnic Watershed’s health and beauty is the topic for the Oct. 7.
The meeting wiill featuring Molly Barritt-Luebke, Donor/Community Relations Manager for the Kinnickinnic River Land Trust. She will discuss their work to maintain the ecological health and beauty of the Watershed, which is the land where all water from rain, snow or springs drains into the river.
The meeting, open to the public, begins at 1 p.m. in the River Room at The Phipps Center for the Arts, Hudson.

The garden club offers spring and fall grants to local groups for up to $500 per grant in support of the club’s mission to beautify the community and provide education about gardening and natural-resource conservation.
