The park in Tampa, Fla., teased the news in a press release detailing 2026 benefits for annual pass members:

An ALL-NEW animal habitat – the park’s most significant expansion in over a decade, debuting in 2026 with first access for pass members (details coming soon).

Busch Gardens has not announced which animals (including any new ones) will be part of the new habitat, how large the habitat will be, or if the 2026 expansion will be accompanied by any new rides. However, remarks from the park president tease “thrilling new attractions.”

“2026 will be a landmark year at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay as we continue to elevate the guest experience,” said Brian Bacica, park president. “From thrilling new attractions and a landmark animal habitat expansion to new festivals, culinary offerings, and entertainment, our annual pass ensures members are the first to experience every moment of excitement.”
