Do I have too much crafting stuff? No. Never. Today, I organized my sunroom, which is where I keep all my gardening supplies, aquaponic system, and indoor plants. My fiber arts are in the office, but my traditional art supplies are in the sunroom so I can take advantage of the natural light!
With everything where it’s supposed to be, I can finally start working on projects again!

Here, William. Can I see that, please? Can you hand that to mama? [Music] So, we moved our chickens outside. And here are our turkeys. Look how big. Oh, so big and handsome and beautiful. I know. They know when I talk like that. Wow. Big birds. Yeah, mama. We’ll get you some water. I’m going to go get you water right now. So, this is what my sun room has become right now. Gardening stuff with my lemon balm, my oregano, thyme is okay, rosemary. Really? Anyway, I’m going to organize all this. We got some old boxes. I’m going to clear this up. This has become like a book repair station. I also found these wicks and some sticky things to make candles because that’s what I did. I also found this. I took a jewelry class in um college. That was also super duper fun. We learned this is when we were learning to do rivets. We had to make a pen. We had to hand make the pen uh mechanism on the back. I did the 1 2 3 4 5 of pentacles. Uh cuz I could do some engraving on the hand there. Um and then this was also some where we had to do rivets. I liked the soldering the best. I really liked torch work. That was super fun. But I’ve got paint and all these other things and I want to get back into doing some more um traditional media things. But this is where I do my traditional media stuff. And I’m also wanting to start live streaming on Tik Tok on the weekends a little bit. We’ve got some trash um leather making or leather engraving stuff. Um here are my book drafts that I’ve been working on. um and everything there. So, we’re going to get that set up so that I can start another round of seeds. Going to clear all this out and give all of this extra stuff to the chicken. This is basil and lettuce that has just gotten way out of hand because we’ve been transitioning from spring to summer. We are in the middle of summer now and I’m ready for some summer cleaning. So, let’s get going. [Music] [Music] So, if you can see, we have a little sundue that I need to trim up. So, let’s do that. A little tiny aloe from my bigger aloe plant over there. Oh, there’s my scotch tape. Come here, buddy. All right, let’s tidy you up a little bit. Also had way too much caffeine today. You can’t tell. I’m like just needs a little haircut. I’m also sweating. Good grief. [Music] I’m like, “Oh, I’m going to be so cute. I’m going to like leave my hair half down.” And now I’m like sweating like a damn pig. [Music] There. Don’t you look so much better? You look so much better. So pretty. hanging out by the window, but not too much in the direct light because this is a western facing window. Okay, I took the turkeys outside. You want some chocolate milk? What do you see? Who is that? Chocolate milk. Okay. What do we say when we want something? Mama. So, I took the cookies outside. That was pretty easy. They seem to be intermingling pretty good. I’m going to check on them in a minute. Um, I gave them food and water and everything, so everybody should be kind of, um, when we first brought them here, they were side by side, but we had to separate them because, um, the chickens needed to be on a chick feed, which has, I think, antibiotics in it or something, you know, some sort of medicinal uh, quality to it. It helps young chickens grow, keeps them healthy. However, that medicine that is in the chick feed, you cannot give it to turkeys. So, we had to keep them separated and give the turkeys a separate feed. But now that they’re big enough, they can go on the same feed. Um, so we’re going to combine them because we got the turkeys. One, because I like turkeys. Two, um, because it kind of lines up with Thanksgiving a little bit. Um, and three, because turkeys are known to be, uh, protective to a flock and we’re doing more of a open pasture. Um, and we have lost a lot of chickens. A lot. We’ve lost more than I am comfortable with to hawks around here. So, we got the turkeys to kind of protect them from the hawks. Um, I was not aware that they were going to be bright white. I was thinking they’re going to be brown, but after doing a little bit of research cuz we got them from our local feed store, um, after doing a little bit of research, that’s like super common is you get the broad brown and broad white. And so, we got the broad white. We don’t know whether they’re male or female, if they’re toms or hens. Um, so one of them is named Big Bird. One of them is named Wyatt thinks that they should be called Twitter. I might call them just Tweety, but that’s the one that when they hear me in the morning, they start tweeting really, really loudly to get my attention. So, here’s my desk, my drawing desk. So, the good thing about this mess is that everything everything has a spot. drawing box, pastel box, garden box, pencils, paints, uh, color pencils, markers, paint brushes. Everything has a spot. It just has to go back into that spot that it’s supposed to go. So, so let’s grab this candle making stuff. Going to go away into the candle making box. Baby books stacked up. Put into a slot up here. This here. This uh over there. This got broken. It still needs to be fixed. So, it’s going to go in a little slot here to be fixed. To be fixed. To be fixed. To be fixed. Okay. We’ve got printer paper. Guess where that’s going to go? In the printer. We’ve got acrylic pad, sketch pad, watercolor pad, drawing pad, sketchbook, and I Oh, there’s a nice big I forget about that. I think these are like Yeah, these are like slick. They actually go here. One of my favorite things. I don’t know if I can find it anymore at the when I lived in Indiana, the uh Goodwill that I would go to was right next to a Target. It was also in between the town that I lived in and the Richy Richtown. Um, and so I could go there and I could find like brand new stuff all the time, but then also I could find like people would drop off like half filled boxes of like picture paper, photo paper, glossy brochure paper, uh, business card paper, you know, they’d be slightly, you know, used. There would be some pieces that would be gone, but like I got so much paper from that, it’s crazy. So, what do we got in here? This is just miscellaneous markers and everything like that. It’s going to go up there. This is watercolor pencils that’s going to go in with the watercolor stuff. We have these We have these little palettes, which I’m not really sure where I want to put just yet, but I do know that I have a spot for my I have a spot for my watercolor palette and I have a spot for my watercolor pencils. They’re going to go right in there. I feel like the palettes can also go in here because like acrylic paint goes in there. I got this art set on Tik Tok shop. Um because I had I have no followers on Tik Tok, but I’m able to like get free samples and stuff like that. So, I was able to get this huge like acrylic art set. So, it came with like canvas pad, easel, a disposable pallet pad, canvas panels, smaller canvas panels. I think it came with this black one, too. Came with canvases. I think it’s these two that it came with. I started this one. I haven’t finished it yet, though, if I ever will. But I got this little easel. It came with this. It came with metallic colors, neon colors, regular colors, these three. And then it came with a I think, yeah, came with this set, this black handled set, which I really like because it came with tiny tiny brushes. I’ve gotten a couple things. Another thing I got off Tik Tok shop as a free sample that I got to test was these acrylic paint markers. They were pretty good. They were okay. This was the Shuttle Art acrylic paint markers. They were all right. I think acrylic paint markers are just really hard to get. I don’t know. I don’t think there is such a thing as a perfect acrylic paint marker because I think acrylic paint dries so quickly that putting it in a marker is just like not not going to work out the best. I was also going to paint on this glass, but I’m not. So, I’m going to put it away. I have a place for the sketchbooks. Oh, these canvas pads, these acrylic pads. They’re going to go in here, too. So, here’s the markers. These are all paint markers here. This is my drawing box. Got pencils, some charcoal, ink, and everything in here. This here is going to go on this shelf over here. Just freeing up all this space here. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. [Applause] All righty. Where do I want to put these? I like hanging them up. I like hanging them up, but it’s already really cluttered over here. That there is my burri. Oh, don’t do that. My big old roll of paper is going to go down here. My lovely, lovely sister-in-law got me this oil pastels, watercolors, colored pencils. It’s all around a allin-one art set. Oh, teeny tiny brushes. Those brushes. Mercy sakes alive. Damn. Get in there. All right, let’s go. How the hell did I even get this out in the first place? See if I don’t. All right. Now, you ready to savor the peelies? Hey. Hey. Don’t fall over. Don’t fall over. That was a bad one. That was also a bad one. Nice. Here, let’s get you a closeup. Let’s get you close up. Ready? Ready? Ready? Ready? Gorgeous. All right. I don’t know if I call that finished, but it’s there.
