Hi everyone,
I’ve moved into a new house and there’s a raised garden bed with oregano in it. Being completely new to gardening and confused, I cut down a bit of oregano to be able to grow other herbs with it. However, I forgot about it for two weeks, and now that I remembered, it looks like the plant has grown back twice as before.

I dug a little deep into the soil and there are bugs like spiders, ants and centipede looking things. I also noticed there’s some white fuzzy stuff on the stems and leaves (pic 1). Is that normal?

Any suggestions on how to tackle this? My main concern is if the plant is diseased due to the white stuff and if I can grow any other herb/plant with it. Sorry if my questions are silly, I’ve tried researching but it’s all going above my head.

A solution of dish soap and Pyrethrins mix in your watering can with a shower head and water all over when rain is not expected in the later afternoon should do the trick. Otherwise use a prayer set to heavier droplets. You may need to repeat for a few days to eradicate the pests. Then after a few days water well and enjoy. I cut the base from a large plastic pot and buried it leaving a few centimeters above surrounding soil to stop the invasive spread oregano can do.
