You will get the list at the end. Now, let’s start with plant number 5, Jade plant. First, it is a very strong plant. And second thing, it is a very lucky plant. Third thing, you can keep it at your home as you want. You can make a cap, hang it, keep it like a normal plant. You can make a bonsai of it. You can keep it at your home in many ways. Now let’s talk about how to care for it. First thing, you will get it in any nursery. And second thing, you can also apply its cutting. Now how big pot should it be put in? Believe me, you can put it in any pot. Put it in any quality pot. Put it in ceramic, cement, soil, plastic, put it in anyone. I have put it in a grow bag too. And there is no matter of size. You can put it in 6 inch, 4 inch, 12 inch. I have put it in such a big circular pot. I have put it in 14 inch cement pot. I have put it in small hanging pots too. This is a plant which keeps on dividing. If you put it in a little wide pot, then you will see that this plant has spread in a few days. Where to keep it is very important. Jade plant is a typical outdoor plant. It needs outdoor air and outdoor sunlight. You can keep it in 2 to 5 hours of sunlight. Now comes the question, how much water does it need? See, this Jade plant comes in the succulent family. It does not need water as such. What I do is, I give it a good amount of water once. You don’t have to do that you have put 2 spoons of water. When I give it water, I give it properly, I give it bath. Water should come out of the pot from below. And after that, I give a long gap. In May-June, I give water once a week. I don’t give water in the monsoon. And in the winter, I check once a month. Or once in 20 days, if I have to give water, then I give. If you give it more water, then only it will be spoiled. Now a special tip for this. Once a month, you spray it from a little above. So this plant should be in your house. Now moving towards plant number 4. This is Purple Heart. Now from the name itself, it is known that this plant is of purple color. Absolutely. If you want your garden where you have kept plants to look colorful, to look very beautiful, then you must plant this plant. And this plant is such that whether you care or not, no matter how you keep it, it will grow very well in your house. It has a very soft stem. There are nodes in it in small gaps. Leaves come out from here. It looks very cute in hanging. And it looks very good if you keep it in the pot normally. You will get it in any nursery. If you have someone around you, then you bring cuttings. This is such a plant that if you put it in your pot once, it will spread automatically. See, you can keep it in a big pot, 4 inches, 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches, 12 inches. You can keep it in a big pot. If you want, you can keep it in a hanging pot. But I will recommend that you keep it in a pot that is not narrow from above. Not round, but a little wide. If it grows too much on its own, then it needs a little space. This is an outdoor plant. Keep it outside the house, i.e. in the balcony or in your terrace. Keep it in the sun for 1 to 5 hours. It grows very well. Let’s talk about water. Give water once and then forget it. Maintain a long gap. In the summer season, I give water once every 5 days. I have kept it outdoor. I don’t give water in the rainy season. And in the winter season, I give water once or twice a month. We should give water to the plants by looking at the soil. If it is dry, then give water. But this plant likes dry soil more. If you give water to it again and again, like some people are used to giving water daily. Or the plant is not growing, so they think they should give water. Then this plant will go bad. If you want this plant to grow well, then maintain a gap of water. A special tip for this. If you want this plant to grow well, then spray water once every 2 months. You bring it once. After it is set, it multiplies so much. Means it will become 100 from 1. And the second thing, this is a cosmetic plant and a medicinal plant. There is a special tip. This is for you, not for the plant. Cut a leaf of aloe vera and keep it in your fridge. If I get burnt any time, like I am ironing and it got burnt or I am doing anything and it got burnt. So I immediately apply its gel. What happens with this is that the burning ends and the other thing does not even get a screen. You will get it in any nursery. And if aloe vera is at someone’s house, you can ask for it. Because so many babies come out of it, people give it for free. This aloe vera should be kept in such a pot that is like a tub. It should be wide but not too deep. It should be wide because small baby plants will come out of it. The second thing, the roots of aloe vera are about the same. Not more than that. If you keep it in a very deep pot, then the water will not be balanced. There will be a problem. That’s why it should be kept in a wide pot or like a tub or in a boat. But if you don’t have such a pot, then you can keep it in a small pot. Like 6 inches or 8 inches pot. By the way, this is an outdoor plant. If you are keeping it outdoor, then you can keep it in the sun for 2 to 5 hours. But if you are keeping it indoor, like we can keep it indoor. There is a lot of fog outside, there is a lot of pollution outside. So we keep it indoor because it comes in the air purifier plant. If you are keeping it indoor, then the outside sun is good. Or bright light, good light. Or there is a grow light in your house. Or you do one thing, keep it out in good sunlight for a day a week. And the remaining 6 days you can keep it on your study table, on the fridge, anywhere. Let’s talk about water. Before that, let me tell you one thing. Once I did not give it water for about 1.5 months. Instead of drying, it happened that its growth started, which was stopped. You don’t have to do this, I was actually doing R&D. And in winters, if I see its soil dry, then once a month, I give water. That’s it. Now special tips for this plant. Aloe vera takes time in the beginning. Many people ask me that we have brought aloe vera, it has been 3-4 months, there is no growth, what to do? Let it set, don’t experiment on it. If you do repotting or do some excess, change the location again and again, then it will take more time. Later it grows very fast, once it is set. This plant should definitely be in your house. I seriously recommend you to keep this strong plant in your house. Go anywhere, come back, you will get it as it is without any care. Now plant number 2, devil’s backbone. This is a variety of pedilithus. The variety I have is a hybrid. It has a light color and a dark color mix. Maybe you have seen it, what do people do? They put it in fencing, in boundaries. There are many varieties in it. Whatever variety you get in the nursery, you take it. It is very strong, very hardy. That’s why I have kept it on the second number. I have so many plants, sometimes good health, sometimes Parijat, sometimes lemon, sometimes mango. I care for everyone else and I forget it. It has been growing like this for years without any care. If you are looking for such a plant, then keep it. It has a very soft stem. There are nodes in places. Its leaves are a little like this. You will get it in the nursery. If you don’t get this one in the nursery, you will get some other variety. And the main thing is that you take it out, divide it from the root. When you divide it from the root, the main plant will not have a problem. And what you are doing separately will not have a problem. You can easily plant it anywhere, on any soil. You can plant it in 6 inches, 8 inches, 10 inches. There is no need to put it in a very big pot because this plant does not grow very much. See, this is an outdoor plant. You have to keep it outside, you should get the outside air. Sunlight for 1 to 4 hours is more than sufficient. Sunlight comes in your balcony for 2 to 3 hours, you keep it. If you want it to grow very well, If you want it to grow strong, then you have to stop watering it. After watering it once, maintain a long gap. I am in North India, in Delhi. It is very hot here. And I have kept it open. I mean, sometimes I keep it under the green net. But normally, it takes a good sun for 1 to 2 hours. In that too, I water it once a week. That’s it. I don’t water it in the monsoon because I already get water in the monsoon. In winter, it will go into a little stress. So I check. If the soil is dry, then I water it. The second thing is that it is very easy to cut. Don’t keep its pot small. 8 inches, 10 inches or 12 inches. Because this plant will grow very fast. You care or not. This is an outdoor plant.
