I was scrolling through some old pictures and couldn’t help but to post this. The first picture is my lawn about 8 years ago, shortly after moving into my house. The second picture is my lawn today. I know it could look better, and there are some areas not pictured that still look terrible, but the difference is just crazy to me. I try to take care of my lawn but I also get lazy and impatient sometimes. I don’t always follow the directions on products exactly but I also have an understanding of what I should and shouldn’t do.

As a side note: we’ve had three 60-70 pound female dogs for the past 6 years. They have certainly made lawn care much more difficult. They have always loved to roll around in the greenest, softest areas of grass. In the past month, we have lost two of those dogs. To honor them and for our third pup that’s maybe slowing down a little bit, I hope to make this the greenest, softest lawn around.

Looks solid, in a year from now you can overseed any thin areas and it will be L. U. S. H.

Looks great, the landscaping too. Well done! I’m sorry to hear about your pups.
