Dorset’s heritage has been brought to life in floral fantasies at a four-day exhibition.
Wimborne Flower Festival, which only happens every five years, opened on Friday at the town’s minster.
Floral groups from around the county have created tableaux on the theme of “Delights of Dorset”, including the Durdle Door arch, Corfe Castle and Shaftesbury’s Gold Hill.
Organiser Christine Oliver, who helped to create a 16ft (5m)-long papier mache dinosaur to represent the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, said money raised from the festival would support the church.
