The Wisp is a pet and one of five pets available in Grow a Garden’s Fairy Update expansion, added on September 6, 2025. If you’re hoping to add a Wisp to your collection, here’s a breakdown of all the important information you need to know, how to get it, its rarity, and what its unique abilities are.
How to Get a Wisp in Grow a Garden
The Wisp is a limited-time pet that’s exclusive to the Elder Wisp Caretaker’s shop in the Fairy World. It’s also a Legendary pet that you can buy using Fairy Points. In order to get Fairy Points, you’ll need to participate in the Fairy Event and complete Fairy Favors.
But that’s not all there is to getting the Wisp. You’ll also have to catch at least 400 fairies before it’s purchasable in the shop. This pet is part of the Fairy Event and may only be able available while it’s running. It’s possible the event may return at a later time or the pet could become available from a different method.
What Does the Wisp Do in Grow a Garden?
The Wisp has a unique ability that relies on having a Wisp Well cosmetic in your garden. As long as you do, the Wisp will go to it and grant all other pets an additional bonus of .80 xp per second. This bonus will vary slightly depending on the age of your Wisp.
