What’s that one climbing up the pole?

Can I please ask? Does that not count as direct light??
I’ve never been able to properly understand the difference.
And avoid putting my plants in windows – but place them away but still within the lightness of the room.
I don’t do as well with plants haha but I’m always so scared the direct light will cook the leaves ??

Hope I have more success this winter, the polar vortexes are something my hvac can barely deal with. Usually lose some plants that can’t handle 60f.

This year I have leds and Ikea cabinets. Hopefully upstairs will be better during the worst of winter.

Why do you say that? Are they not already indoors?

I feel this. Im in the Midwest US. All my plants are in our sunroom that is North, East, South exposure. It it part of the home and not an addition. It has HVAC too. But every fall, the die off begins. It starts slowly but by Spring I will down at least 15% of my plant collection. Last year I used a space heater at night and that helped. But my utility bill was insane.
