If it’s free, it’s for me. And if it’s $300, it’s also for me cuz I scored all this fencing from Marketplace for a bargain. And this stuff is expensive. The catch was though that it’s missing a bunch of parts. This one’s got a chunk out of it. And it also smells like dog pee, but that’s probably our own fault. My vision for this space has always been a cute cut flower garden with white fencing. And after a recent greenhouse transformation, the fencing is just going to tie this whole thing together. Now, fun fact, this was actually supposed to be a picket fence, but because we were missing some parts, we kind of had to maggyver something else. I actually think our design is better than the picket fence. And you probably would never even have known that that’s not what it’s supposed to look like. In fact, this has become one of my favorite backyard projects yet. And you got to see it all come together. So stay tuned.

    Our next door neighbor was putting up a taller fence to secure their dog area. It did not tie into our white picket fence so they asked if they could replace our fence with the higher fence. White picket fences are a maintenance nightmare so we did not hesitate. When we were removing our fence, a contractor who was remodeling a home a few blocks away asked if he could buy them. They were going to the landfilll so we just gave them to him. Everyone won in this fence story 😂

    I like it better that way. Picket fences are for keeping people out. The railing style makes it look like it's there for safety instead of impailing people.

    Wipe it down with vinegar then soapy water that should help reduce the urine odor j got cat spray off my plastic flower pots using this method
