Given the sap under the leaves and the rotten leaves, i'm pretty sure the sender just watered it way too much before sending it…

Anyway, i want to try and save it, so i'm planning to remove/cut the dark or damaged leaves, let it dry bare roots for a few days, and then repot it in a new drainy soil. Is that correct ?

(it was in a box for 1-2 weeks, so no light and no airflow during that time)

Your plan is already great. This will definetly thrive again as long as the roots not visible havent rotted. Do update when she gets a haircut and a new pot!

Good plan! I would do the same. Good luck😊

Definitely remove all the rotted dead sections but don’t expose the root ball completely. I’ve taken plants out of pots and in place in plastic bags (open) to air out a little. Just need to let the open wounds callous up. I’m 85% sure you’ll bring it back to good health (if you know what you’re doing) lol.
