A football-mad grandad has built a £5,000 six-seater stand in his back garden so he and his grandsons can watch Barnoldswick Town. Ian Nutter, 65, from Lancashire, decided to build the terrace after spotting his grandsons leaning dangerously over a fence to glimpse the action. The eight-foot structure features original Burnley FC seats, toughened glass, and a roof — and was designed with help from his apprentices. Ian says his grandsons love it, while away fans sometimes chant at him, but he just waves back: “It’s all part of the fun.”
