Hi everyone!
I received a Fiddle Leaf Fig as a gift nearly a year ago, originally purchased from Costco. I have maintained a regular routine of watering and leaf care; however, over the past three months, the plant has begun dropping leaves and showing signs of distress on the foliage. Despite these concerns, it continues to produce new growth, which I find encouraging. As I am new to caring for this type of plant, I have been reading the care recommendations shared on this page. I would greatly appreciate any guidance or advice to help ensure its continued health. Thank you in advance! đź’š

More light
I’m assuming you need to move it next to a window, since we can’t see one in this photo; like directly in front of a window. They need a lot of light.
This is almost exactly what mine looks like! I recently moved it from a darker corner to right in front of the biggest window in our apartment, and she seems to be much happier now. Quite a few newer leaves!
No advice lol, but I also got one from Costco about 4 months ago and had the same types of brown spots show up on the leaves shortly after bringing it home. Now it’s been a battle of “how do I fix this?”, so I guess I’m just here in solidarity and now I’m hesitant to buy plants from Costco despite the great prices.
Way more light; new leaves are tiny and pale. Third pic looks like spider mite damage. Crisp leaf looks like overwatering. Overwatering and pest activity increase considerably when a plant doesn’t get the light it needs as it weakens the plant
How much do you water it every 2 weeks? I see you have the watering bulb thing in the pot, is this what you use? If you have drain holes in your pot (which is recommended), you should water enough that water is draining out the bottom.
