My name is Josephine Christopher. I’ve lived here for 15 years. So when we moved in, this was all grass. There’s a tree behind me right here. It’s a big spruce and that was the only thing on the property. The first thing I did was get chickens. You know, I just thought that was a cool thing to do. So, we got chickens and that was a lot of fun. And then we moved on to getting a pond. Then we got the fish put in. The greenhouse came a few years later. So I really love bonsai and adenium. And so I’ve been doing bonsai for probably about 20 years. What I really love the most is nature and having all of the animals and the the bees and the beetles and the bugs and the birds and everybody coming to visit the garden. And that’s what’s important. I can enjoy my garden, sit by the pond and have a cup of coffee and enjoy nature. Living in Chicago when you have this, you know, you can just sit and enjoy it. [Music]
