A garden centre has confirmed the launch of its Christmas department with a ‘spectacular’ opening weekend. Bold Heath Garden Centre on Mill Lane in Widnes has operated as a nursery since the 1800s and joined family-run garden centre group British Garden Centres in 2019.
The centre will launch its Christmas department on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5, “pulling out all the stops to make this year’s celebrations bigger and brighter than ever” with enchanting decorations and festive family fun.
Shoppers will be among the first to explore the exclusive new additions to the popular Fern Christmas and Lighting range.
It features stunning decorations, dazzling lights, and beautiful home accessories, designed to help shoppers transform their homes.

Stuart Locke, centre manager, said: “We are excited to welcome people into our centre and show off our team’s hard work and inspirational, magical displays.
“Christmas at British Garden Centres is about so much more than decorations; it’s about bringing people together and making the season the best experience for everyone.

Bookings are now open for Bold Heath Garden Centre’s much loved Christmas events and experiences.
From festive dining to magical meet-and-greet experiences with Santa, there are plenty of experiences for families to create magical memories.
There will also be a Paws and Claus Breakfast where dogs can be pictured with Santa and receive a free Santa hat and goody bag.
