That’s aphids on nasturtium (Tropaeolum majus), it’s pretty normal. You can spray with soapy water (dish or green soap), spray them off with the garden house, or just leave them be – the nasturtium will be dead following the first frosts anyway.

Thats a nasturtium with a black fly or mealy bug infestation. I dont use chemical sprays. Instead I crush small groups of them with my fingers or just blast them off with a hose!

It’s not a clematis it’s a nasteritum and will be dead soon now it’s getting cold

I actually plant nasturtium to distract pests from other plants. Nasturtiums in my experience can outgrow anything pests try to throw at it.
It will die to the frost though.

Don’t worry about it, they grow fast and easily deal with it. They are great to companion plant near beans etc to lure away to black fly. Only a issue if your planning nearing the leaves, seeds and flowers in a salad etc

Let them feed, that’s a big part of what nasturtium brings to a garden
