This is my man’s little tree growing in her back garden. Got some olives on them but I reckon it’s a bit late for them to ripen. Has anyone ever ripened them? In a greenhouse maybe?

Are they not ripe enough there? Black olives are just more ripe ones than green ones. But to have them soft and tasty I think you need to soak them in brine? This destroys whatever makes them inedible direct from the tree and o guess softens them also

Yes, we have a tree in a very big pot in our conservatory and the olives ripened fine. Bought the tree in Dunnes about a year ago.
