My wife and I recently bought a house that came with this incredible shed that has a chicken coop built directly off of it.
We have zero desire to own any chickens but would really love to potentially convert the coop to a greenhouse so that we have a space to put some of our plants for the winters.
Has anyone done a DIY conversion like this or is my best bet to rip this down and start from scratch?
I’m pretty sold on keeping a potential the greenhouse next the shed as the shed has electricity.

I’m thinking greenhouse plastic rolls would be the easiest/only way to work with chain link.
Edit: the coop itself would probably need to be chopped to barebones and poly panels set. Might be a sizable undertaking.
I have no suggestions on the conversion, but just be aware that depending on your climate, you’ll likely need to heat the greenhouse. At night the temperature will generally be the same as the outdoor temperature.
Get chickens. That set-up is sweet!
I’ve seen some nice greenhouses made from old sheds stripped to bare bones, retrofitted with old double hung windows for walls and polycarbonate panels for the roof. That was my plan, but our shed wasn’t in a good greenhouse location. Too much shade. Ended up with a floor model greenhouse that was too good to pass up.
