It gives it a lot of light and heat there, I guess that's why it manages to flower, I don't know about plants 😅

    I’m not sure if that’s a Christmas cactus or a close cousin, but it should Bloom inside every year, you might be able to make it bloom twice a year. You’d have to look that up somewhere.

    That’s normal, it’s a schlumbergera, there are several varieties that generally flower from October to April, they are more commonly called Thanksgiving, Christmas or Easter cactus.
    On the other hand, these species live in tropical forests and not in the desert.
