I keep seeing all these GIANT asters. I just planted a “Raydon’s favorite” near the front edge of my garden. Is it going to block everything in sight??

We can carolina chop asters, right?
I have volunteer prairie flowers round around my yard (NE aster, golden rod, iron weed). All lovely, but they are 5′ + tall and they flop over. Was thinking about cutting them back in early summer next year to keep them at a shorter height.

I’ve never seen New England Aster (?) get that big in the wild. What an absolute unit.
