Hi redditors.
I bought an apatment sized greenhouse recently to store my peppers and tomatos in, since it's now getting too cold for them outside. I already knew with these cheap, plastic greenhouses that ventilation and air flow can be a problem, but it's unfortunately necessary since I don't want my cats getting into the plants, and potentially getting sick. Especially when we're not home to monitor everything.

Problem is, I have no idea where I should be positioning fans and vents. Everything I've read so far has been either unclear, or a mixed bag of opinions. As I mentioned, I am a newbie gardener, this is my first year actually maintaining a garden (and not killing anything!), so any and all help would be greatly appreciated!

I’m interested to see if anyone answers you.

I, too, am a newbie gardener and posted a similar question myself today.

I’ve not read the sub extensively but the few threads I have come across regarding set-ups like yours [and to a certain extent mine] (ESPECIALLY if they’re outdoors which mine is) is basically “better off throwing your money in a landfill”, “waste of time”, “garbage!” You get the idea.

So – we shall see. Hopefully one of the Rothschilds is just bored enough that they’ll deign to offer their opinion to us lowly riff-raff. 😉 (I have seen a few posts where people were helpful – I built mine based off their recommendations of what they built for themselves – and it works!)
