Found these in a planter that was dying on my mother-in-law’s front porch


My mother-in-law had a plantar and pull something on your front porch that was not doing well I pulled these stems to see if I could propogate them. Looking for any advice that you can offer I'm not even sure what plant this is. Should they hang out in water for a little while until the roots are stronger? should I put them straight back in soil? should I try semi hydro with this variety? All help is appreciated.

    These look like r/aglaonema. I’d gently clean the roots and pull off any brown mushy roots. If it were me, I’d put half in a well draining soil mixture and half in semi hydro. My aglaonema is happy in leca with some decent hydroponic plant food.
