Just finished the cover for my raised bed with a ghat system. The bed is 8×8 ft and max height is 3 ft. There's about 30'' of coiled 4" irrigation tube underneath the raised bed. I could only bury it about 6" below grade, 20" below the top of the raised bed, so not exactly ideal, but the volume of air going through and the surface area underneath is pretty large compared to the volume of the greenhouse. Bed is made from 2" oak and lined with 2" foam for insulation.

The top is just a wood frame with double wall 6 mil plastic. I still need to add some door sweep foam to the bottom so that it seals better, bit it should be fine for at least the next month right now.

Im currently growing kolrabi, brocoli, brocolini, snap peas, carrots, radishes, and arugula. If it stays warm enough, ill add some more warm weather veggies. We eat a lot of arugula, so my main goal would be to grow arugula through the winter and then it will just be another raised bed in summer.

I need to add "legs" so I can prop it open. Ill probably just use some 2x4s on hinges.

Im not sure exactly how I will work in there if it's really cold out because it will need to be propped up. Maybe a tarp over it to keep the draft out. Luckily, the weather here generally doesn't stay really cold for more than a few days, so it may not be much of an issue.

Not sure your growing zone or conditions, but I would be concerned about overheating. Overall, I think it’s a great design.
