NE Ohio here. Mosquitos are horrible this year. I found a painter's suit helpful. Complete coverage. I had to use rubble gloves under the garden gloves. Those stinkers bit thru the garden gloves. I get huge welts from their bits. Not any more. Also netting to cover my face.
I believe a Dutch door on the mail house would look good and work well. Love your videos have been watching since 2015 and have learned a lot from your channel also love watching your Beautiful children grow I just became a Great Grand mother at 76 years old .Happy Anniversary and keep up the good work

get rid of the gravel around the hartley. That ugly gravel ruins the look of that beautiful area. Your south garden looks the prettiest and is the least visited area of your garden. Gravel is for driveways, not pathways.

Some of my boxwoods developed yellow rims around the leaves this summer. We've been in serious drought on Cape Cod and I attibute the problem to less water than normal.
Aaron, have you considered industrial heating mats on the gravel, in front and behind the gates and mail hut path to keep snow melted? You can set them up so that you turn them on only as needed. An inground radiant system could be installed, but is more expensive. Just a thought in making your life easier in the snowy months. Continued blessings!

It might be worth calling and or talking to a delivery person from UPS or FedEx to see what kind of message would help them know where they need to put packages. It always helps to find out from the people who actually do the work what signage is helpful.
It would be super nice of you to leave some drinks and snacks for your delivery people in the hut. I do that on hot days in a cooler on my porch with a sign for them to help themselves. 😊
