Full disclosure-I didn't read the entire article.

This was in my Google news headlines on my phone this morning, so of course I had to see this "chic setup". I don't know if the author was making fun or just click baiting but it cracked me up

I thought this was the circlejerk sub for a second

“Seth Rogen has created a beautiful houseplant display in this corner,’ says Gardens content editor Tenielle Jordison.”

Well šŸ˜€ Sometimes I cannot even well what is a joke anymore in this crazy world, but seems like they were scraping for content

Never has a grouping of plants been so indicative of ones personality.

  4. MWD_tales

I mean, cool, good for him I gues? But it seems a little dark.Ā

Is the chic corner in the house with us?

  6. variegayted

Makes me like him more, but is this really a ā€œmasterclassā€? 🤣

I love that he does pottery, and made these pots himself. How cool! But, like, this article really should have focused on that rather than the plants in the pots IMHO.

Maybe Seth is trying to branch out into plant comedy

Omg nothing says chic like etiolation & poor foliage šŸ„°šŸ’…

  10. There’s a political commentator that I watch and he has a ZZ plant in his background. At first I thought it was fake because it was so shiny (no water spots, like mine, even with bottom watering and filtered water? whatever, be spotty). Anyway, I thought it was fake until a lime green stalk popped up and started growing. šŸ˜€ Now I monitor mine and his to see who’s getting better care. šŸ˜‰

It’s obviously carefully curated and arranged by a professional. Typical celebrity trying to take credit for something fabulous, that they paid someone to do.

That poor lady palm naild to that pole seems to be pleading ā€œkiiiill meeeā€¦ā€

Seth Rogan is a real mystery to me. He’s kind of funny and Hollywood is like ā€œhe’s hilarious!ā€ He makes some mid pots and people are like ā€œhe is a master ceramicistā€ and apparently when he manages to grow houseplants he engineers ā€œchic plant cornersā€. This guy defines mediocrity and I keep being told he is masterful.

Seeing this, I feel like a plant hoarder.

  15. recursivelimit

Look like they in time-out or some shit.

  16. Glittering_Body_4070

He’s keeping an alocasia alive in ambient conditions, I’m impressed. My alos could never 😭

    What the fuck 🤣🤣🤣

ā€œLook at these fabulous corner plants that haven’t seen the sun in weeksā€

  19. PretentiousPepperoni

Breaking news: Seth Rogen proves to be mediocre again.

  20. No_Maintenance_1872

I have one of those corners. It’s my mortuary though. Look at me being all fancy and ish

Four plants sitting in a corner is a master class on plant keeping? They ought to see my carnivorous plant collection, my crassula display, my fittonia greenhouse, my monsteras, or the 14 different pothos varieties on my sphagnum moss pole wall. Then there’s the philodendrons, the tradescantias, the aglaonemas, and the propagation station where all my cuttings are displayed in thrifted barware. Sorry I’m not a celebrity, lol. From another article: apparently Diane Keaton has plants in pots in her courtyard. Stop the presses!

Why has Seth Rogan put his plants in time-out?
