I needed to get some seedlings out of their propagation trays. The E. hadramautica is quite stunning as I was able to get it to develop a proper growth pattern, some of the earlier seedlings etiolated a bit as I didn’t get them into more light early enough.
I was surprised to see the large caudices on the E. yattana already developed. I thought they were quite smaller as their stem and leaf growth is quite close to the growing medium so I really didn’t know what was happening under the surface!
The E. khandallensis were a bit abused early in life and I thought they actually had died since last year until I saw their lead growth popping up. I’m hoping they grow quite a bit more for next season and begin flowering so I can start collecting seed.
