They keep getting this white fuzz and withering, but both keep sprouting new shoots

    where are you at in the propagation? They look successfully propagated. Do they have nice strong roots.? White fuzz makes me think excess moisture
    How much sun are they getting?

    dont worry, the mint will sprout more. Once my first crop of peppermint started to die back like yours i ripped a few runners out and just jammed them in a new pot and forgot about them, I just noticed yesterday I have a gigantic planter full of it.

    You can dry them, the motherplant will come back next year

    It looks like the beginnings fall where you are. The 🪴 plant will go dormant. I’d cut it back anyway to a few inches above the new fresh growth. And harvest the new growth for mohitos…

    Agree as previously mentioned, the soil is too wet. But minit is literally an aggressive weed, normally its impossible to kill.
