Noticed a tree in my backyard oozing black and growing weird spikes/nubs all over it. It’s a sugarberry tree. by shugarcube #arboricultureArborists 6 Comments RawChickenButt 14 hours ago Bone cancer Snooobjection3453 13 hours ago Looks like a horned toad! You won’t climb that tree. Anomonouse 13 hours ago Warts are normal on sugarberry. Black is from a wound, probably the wound is oozing sap and a mold is eating the sap after the sap has left the tree. Looks like you’ve got some poison ivy there too Perle1234 13 hours ago Yes it’s been infected with sharkitis. Sorry, it’s fatal. I am not an arborist.
