WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) – Applications are being accepted for next year’s Master Gardener Program at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson County.
Horticulture and Natural Resources Educator Cierra Williams appeared on 7 News at Noon on Friday to talk about the program. Watch her interview above.
Applications are due November 28.
Training begins on January 15 and ends on March 24, 2026.
The cost of the program is $200.
There is a scholarship available until October 1.
Through the program, students learn about gardening, plant nutrition, soils, pest management, and more. Graduates are asked to volunteer their skills in the community.
