I generally dry and powder them all and use as soup broth

So much fun. I tell people, it’s better to do mushroom logs than dig a garden. A garden will grow weeds, might need a fence, and will need to be done each year. Shiitake on oak will be a day or 2 of shit work that will kick your ass. Years later, you’ll still be harvesting off the logs without much labor besides your 2 days.
