Hello everyone!
As you can see on the pictures, my rubber plant is dying and I wonder if there is any way of saving it, or at least some parts of it. About two months ago it started loosing its leaves, at first only its older and lower ones, that's why I didn't pay attention to it at first. But then other ones started falling of, so I got worried and moved the plant somewhere else, where it had more light, but it didn't help. The leaves didn't look sick, they were all nicely green and watered, even after falling of. Two days ago I also noticed, that the middle part of the stem is brown and maybe rotting? I think it wasn't like this only a week ago. Two little leaves, one at the bottom and one at the top, are not developing at all ever since I noticed them (a month ago?).
Is there a way of saving the plant or is it too far gone? I'm a begginer, when it comes to it, so I don't know if it works like it, but I know that in case of some plants you can cut out a leaf, put it in water and it will grow new roots, which will be possible to plant later on. Is it also possible in my case?
Thank you in advance for any advice and for any rubber plant lovers, I'm truly sorry for bringing this baby to this sorrow of a state…

It happens the same with mine 🙁 I think it was a combo of too much water (soil remaining wet too long) and not enough light.
I put it outside and it’s growing back slowly.
I think it will grow back but be patient
Spray it with capt Jack’s copper fungicide. That might help, but since the bad spot is almost right in the middle of the stem, it’s hard to say. But, if you do treat it with spray, maybe it will control the spread of whatever that is.
