I have already called poison control and they told me since it had been some time and she only had 1 and no symptoms to wait and monitor but they didn’t even ask me about the berry and I am losing my mind with worry. We are in Denver, CO. Behind the fence is an urban garden but this tree bush thing is against the fence and appears more weed like than grown on purpose. It tasted extremely bitter. I brought a sample home in case but if anyone k owe this plant or has a best guess please help me

Invasive Rhamnus cathartica. Your child is going to (literally) shit, but that’s probably the extent of it, especially if it’s been awhile and no symptoms have manifested.

Pretty. I can see how a child might be tempted by it.
