Does anyone know what kind of pests these are?? Are these benifical??? Just looked into the soil bag that I bought and these bugs are all over and I didn’t realize the first time. Plants get plenty of light and get watered regularly.

Looks like some sort of soil mite. Not harmful.

Fungus gnats? Get a zevo and stop watering from the top.

Fungus gnats lay their eggs on the top of the soil so I put a tube in my dirt and water from the bottom. This will also encourage deeper roots. These are the same gnats that move into your kitchen drain. Once you get them in one soil it’s hard to get rid of them until you stop top watering spray soil with neem and use a zevo sticky light trap.

If they move quick they are good, if they move slow they are bad

Basically only pest that lives in the soil is a root mealie/root aphid and these aren’t it, so like someone already mentioned, you have some kind of (harmless) soil mites.

(Well of course fungus gnats and their larvae hang out in the soil too but I wouldn’t even call them pests, they’re mainly just annoying 😂)

You can also get some dunk it’s in a donut shape or granules. Mix as directed in water and use that water to water your plants. Also on Amazon, you can buy Bonide systemic insecticide/pesticide you mix into top of soil and water in. It lasts 3 months.
