Flowers ARE dope because the level of specialization in their pollination get weird (not kink shaming). Here are two succulent examples that bloomed last night
The carron flower (big guy) uses flies for pollination. Emitting and odor of dead meat, and kinda looking like it ( to me and the flies at least)
This column cactus (anyone got a name?) The Flower grows remarkably fast over several days and bloom for a few hours at night but the flower quickly falls off, you can see the extended corolla tube left behind. It is pollinated by moths which have co evolved long proboscis to be able to more efficiently drink the nectar.
Nature is cool y'all. I really hope these flower get lucky.
