Well, my first graft attempt went badly. As others said my use of medical tape probably wasn’t the best thing to hold it down as it ends up stretching after a day or two.
When I first taped them up they were on solid but it eventually got loose and 1 of my 3 grafts failed. The other 2 we’re holding and and they seemed to have worked but the bond is not big it is very small so I don’t have high hopes yet.
Anyways I then refracted the one that failed but this time I used elastic bands and it feels super solid I have very high hopes. I then added elastic bands on to the other 2 just incase and then I even added another graft onto the stack using elastic bands.
I also then made a graft on one of my pups that I had cut off as it wasn’t a nice looking pup.
Hopefully this time I have success

This is the proper way with med tape… rubber bands will crush the scion.
Forbidden zucchini.

Looks good, that’s the same method I use I just don’t bevel, but I’m also using much smaller scions. 🤞 Good luck!!
I use slices of pantyhose, stretched and anchored to spines, held there by rubber bands if needed.

Graphs I feel are ment to tediously be made in groups, because of the likelihood of some not taking… just hope you understand how to do so before you invest what you propagate & loose them by doing the same mistake, over & over
