Last week I posted a project we wrapped up in Flushing, Queens. A lot of you loved the setup, but a bunch of comments compared it to a prison yard (fair enough, the homeowner wanted it super clean and minimal).

But seriously, please don’t say I only build prison yards — that’s not the case at all. Every design comes down to what the homeowner asks for.

Here’s another one we wrapped up: pergola with lights, cozy seating, and enough plants to make it feel like a little garden escape.

Some homeowners want clean lines and open space. Others want lush and colorful. My job’s just to make their vision happen.

That’s real nice matey, the people calling you a builder of prison yards are a bunch of arses.

    OP You’re not fooling us!

You clearly just added a bunch of cheap potted plants from a bix box store.

Never heard that term used. It’s not being used outside of Reddit. So just brush it off. Looks peaceful.

Nice try but that’s just a minimum security prison yard.  Why do you only build prison themes?
