Brugmansia Suaveolens, also known as Angel's Trumpets. These have always been a favorite of mine and I figured I would try my hand at growing a seedling I found at my nursery. Easily my most satisfying gardening project from this season.
These blooms are absolutely stunning – huge and showy with a strong scent that smells like really good perfume. It is a shame they are so toxic otherwise I would line my house with these next year!
Second pic is in its fully night-blooming glory!

I absolutely love Brugmansias. Commonly known as Angels Trumpets.
Its like a flower chandelier!
Beautiful and deadly at the same time!
I fondly remember seeing them frequently in Los Angeles especially in the backyard of my aunt and uncle’s house in Pasadena.
