Barbara Gean Boucher, a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on September 16, 2025, in Hendersonville, TN. She was born on July 18, 1945, in Nashville, TN.

Preceded in death by her husband Leon Boucher; brother Tommy Young; sister Connie Plavich; brother-in-law Tony Plavich; parents Ira and Fannie Young.

Barbara is survived by her daughters Kim (Karl) Jaufmann, Rachel (Ken) Brawner; grandchildren: Tim (Emma) Tant, Bethany (Justin) Jung; great grandchildren Miriam Tant, Leia Tant, Benjamin Tant, Carson Jung, Rex Jung; brother William (Debbie) Young; dear friend Pat DeLoach as well as nieces, nephews and loved ones.

Barbara was known for her vibrant spirit and her love of life. She had a passion for gardening and found great joy in every holiday, creating lasting memories with her family. Barbara loved hosting gatherings, filling her home with laughter, music, and dancing. Her “fun girls group” was a highlight, where they enjoyed traveling around town and taking memorable trips together, especially their joyous limo rides. She also cherished her time spent traveling and going on cruises with her family.

Barbara will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her love for family and friends, and the countless happy moments she created for everyone around her. Her legacy of love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 27, 2025 from 11:30am ~ 1:30pm with a Celebration of Life at 1:30pm and the burial to follow all at Harpeth Hills Funeral home 9090 Highway 100 Nashville TN 37221
