Google says to repot in spring, when it has outgrown the pot or AFTER fruiting and to only go up one pot size. It is considered to have outgrown the pot if the leaves are over the sides of the pot and I'm only supposed to go up one pot size. I just bought this with the pineapple already growing, but she definitely needs repotting and I think I need to go up two pot sizes. I really don't want the pineapple to fall off prematurely and end up with no pups for new plants, but I don't think she can survive like this either. What would you do?

Plants should not be stressed in flower. It can be done gently but if you want no risks better not touch it. You can give it nutrients and it will be almost like a pot change.
