The Fall Mutation was added to Grow a Garden on September 13, 2025, as part of the Fall Update. It’s a mutation that’s tied to an event and a pet, so here’s everything you need to know about this mutation. Such as how to get it and what it does!

How to Get the Fall Mutation in Grow a Garden

The Fall Mutation has two different ways to get it, with one being a bit easier than the other. The first method relies on participating in the Fall Market Event, where you can trigger a Fall Bloom to mutate your plants. Each Fall Bloom mutates five plants with the Fall Mutation.

The second method revolves around getting Fall Eggs, so you can get a Grizzly Bear pet. However, there’s only a 10% chance of getting a Grizzly Bear from a Fall Egg. Which makes this a bit difficult to get if you’re not constantly hatching eggs.

The major benefit of having a Grizzly Bear is that you’ll be able to get the Fall Mutation even when the Fall Market Event ends. And, you have a 10% chance of getting the mutation once per 4 minutes. This is a passive way to get it without relying on Fall Blooms. Despite still being a low chance.

What Does the Fall Mutation Do?

Like all mutations, Fall adds a value multiplier to your crops. In this case, Fall increases your profits by 4x the standard amount for each mutated crop. In addition to this, it seems to turn your fruit slightly yellow. And you’ll see little stud effects float off your fruit that are probably supposed to be leaves.
