More than one month ago, my husband accidentally snapped my cactus clean in half. Out of desperation, we taped it back together with duct tape. We didn't really expect much. Now it magically budded out a brand new part. Just want to share this with everyone here.

So basically what you did is you grafted it back onto itself. If you remove the duct tape you’ll likely find that the growth fused back into one piece
