hi all, bought this ficus from FB marketplace. we want to make sure it’s as healthy as possible. tips on caring for the ficus, considering we’re in the north of england and it has been getting slightly grayer and colder recently?
You need to the stem shake it 3x day or put a fan on it daily it mimics nature and the stem will strengthen and support top growth

If you want more branches,a thicker trunk and keep its height(your ideal height)….you just ALWAYS pluck terminal buds(or new growths)off..more buds(become branches) will grow along the trunk..and trunk will grow thicker and thicker…..
..l suggest watering it thoroughly each time(water it once every 7-10days)..and don’t keep excess water in saucer after watering..
….and this tropical plant is suitable for indoor and outdoor(as long as temperature is not below 5x°F/1x°C)
