the white stuff is from neem oil not just a ton of bugs lol. i got this alocasia a couple weeks ago and have kept it in my room away from most of my other plants because ive been going back and forth on if i think its mosaic. was wondering if anyone has a better eye for this stuff and could help me out. tia gets watered about every week or so, under grow lights and gets some sun from the window

You may want to look up nutrient deficiencies/diseases that present with tertiary vein chlorosis.

Yeah I would definitely keep it away from your other plants and not cross contaminate things, but they do sometimes do this stuff when they are nutrient deficient. I’d try giving it some feed and seeing if it continues or if the leaves begin to worsen or warp, suggesting sickness.

I had never heard of this before so had to do my own research. Thank you for teaching me a new aspect of alocasia plants.

When I looked at examples it’s very irregular IMHO. To me yours looks beautiful and very specific. Again I’m definitely not an expert.

Just wanted to say I think she looks so very cool looking and gorgeous. I’m hoping it’s not mosaic. Good luck. 🍀

It could be either Mg, S, Fe, Mn or N deficiancy. Maybe Worte it to invest in a good nutrients solution!
